RSPH Level 3 Award in Pest Management

Candidates attending the course will gain an in-depth knowledge of the management of vertebrate and invertebrate pests. The course will also explore the different factors that affect the delivery of pest management services such as legislation, health and safety and environmental issues.

The course is designed for those who have already achieved the RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management who wish to increase their knowledge and expertise.

Assessment will be a 2 and a half hour exam in person followed by portfolio work consisting of 4 assignments which will be carried out by the candidate in their own time.

Course Content

Understanding factors that influence the provision of pest management services.
Management and Control of Vertebrate Pests – covering both the chemical and non-chemical management.
Management and Control of Invertebrate Pests – from different insect orders using chemical and non-chemical means.
