RSPH Level 2 Award in using Aluminium Phosphide safely for the management of Vertebrate pests
A classroom and field-based training course on the safe use of Aluminium Phosphide against Vertebrate pests such as rabbits, moles and rats.
Course Content
- Health and safety, storage, security and transportation
- Understanding the product label, emergency procedures
- Symptoms of phosphine poisoning and PPE requirements
Candidates also have to demonstrate knowledge of how to fill, use and empty applicators, the disposal of excess product and containers and the completion of records for legal and management purposes.
